MakeShiftComics is Co-Created by sisters in crime, Elise and Brigitte.
The comics are both inspired by everyday life and exaggeration of our crazy imaginations and strange sense of humor.  MakeShift relates to our “Makeshift” personalities by improvising and making due with what we have. 

 Caffeine-Profile-Picture

   Elise is one of the main characters in the MakeShiftComics webseries who is based off the illustrator of MakeShiftComics.  She is the artist and older sister to Brigitte, (Co-writer).

Elise is an artist who works with many different media, but concentrates on illustration and drawing.  She has completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts from Youngstown State University.  Elise has participated in student juried art shows, a Junior Review Art Show, and a Graduating Senior BFA Show at the McDonough Museum of Art in association with Youngstown State University.  She currently teaches Art from grades, Kindergarten to Eighth Grade while also working for private commissioners.  She is the Illustrator and Co-Writer for MakeShiftComics.
